Q. I just installed an aquarium and the water is all cloudy white.  Why is this happening?

A. Every new setup has to go through the “Cycle”. This is the process of your aquarium water balancing itself into a life sustaining ecosystem via the culture of certain bacterium, which breakdown waste and other organics. During this cycle nitrite, ammonia, and other chemical level will fluctuate, sometimes to slightly harmful levels which in turn clouds the water. It’s a bit of a process that every aquarium must go through, but once the cycles is complete, and regular aquarium maintenance is practice, cloudy water should never be a problem again.
